Ayia Napa Marina
MCM undertook the entire scope of subsea works for the construction of Ayia Napa Marina over a period of approximately 3 years, including underwater installation, positioning and inspection works across the marina’s principal marine infrastructure. The project included the placement of precast concrete blocks, installation of floating docks and pontoons, and extensive commercial diving operations. MCM also carried out the subsea works associated with the construction of the marina’s approximately 900 m-long breakwater, including the placement of around 10,000 concrete Tetrapod armour units. The marina features a 16-hectare basin, water depths of approximately 3.5–7 m, and capacity for yachts of up to approximately 110 m LOA.
